About Me

Hi, I’m Ann Hargrove

I grew up in Dallas, TX where I found myself drawn towards art and design later graduating from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Fine Art.

I started working in the world of graphic design shortly after college for a company creating trade show displays and various print materials. Then next thing you know, I’m off to Guatemala living on a coffee plantation. During my time in Guatemala, I received a Master’s degree in Education while teaching art to elementary students and computer science to high schoolers.

After 10 years of living in the land of eternal spring, my family returned to San Antonio, Texas. I became a certified bilingual teacher and was later promoted to the role of an Instructional Technology Specialist. I developed online and in-person trainings for educators, found solutions for complex educational technology needs, and worked on large-scale projects promoting learner engagement and innovation.

Once my daughter graduated from the University of Texas in Austin. Hook’em! I decided to combine my ability to problem solve and effectively instruct with my talents in graphic design to do what I’m truly passionate about. Yes, you guessed it! Instructional Design.
