I grew up in Dallas, TX, and earned a BFA from Stephen F. Austin State University before starting my career in graphic design, creating trade show displays and print materials. My path then led me to Guatemala, where I taught art and computer science while earning a Master’s in Education. After returning to San Antonio, TX, I became a bilingual teacher and later served as an Instructional Technology Specialist. When my daughter graduated from the University of Texas, I decided to combine my design background and teaching experience to pursue my passion for Instructional Design. I’m also expanding my skills in software development and recently completed a full-stack development boot camp at the University of Texas at Austin.
